Stumbled on this really interesting training program today. Looks like a great training resource especially for anyone just starting out in window coverings. Window Coverings University. They have training for all aspects of the work and for running the business – including sales/marketing.
So I was on Hampshire, Massachusetts Upholstery – Kim’s Upholstery website and saw that she teaches online classes in upholstery through Craftsy.com. Never heard of craftsy so had to check it out. And what a goldmine resources it is!

Its summertime and we’re feeling fine. Better than fine actually. George was just featured as the expert upholsterer in an episode of Room For Improvement on WSVN 7 with the host, Martin Amado. George and Martin picked out a furniture piece and upholstered it for charity.
