Railroad:
Railroading is a way of weaving a pattern or design where the pattern direction is horizontal instead of the more common vertical weave.

Railroaded fabric is useful in case of large and long upholstery jobs; for instance, long sofa(s) or sectional sets. Workrooms and manufacturers will use railroaded fabrics so that seams are avoided.
